The Currency Exchange Corporation was established in 1999, by its chairman and CEO Mr Mike Cooke, who had been a well known figure in the Foreign Exchange markets in the City since 1983. Mr Cooke has been widely credited with introducing Commission Free Foreign Exchange to the currency markets in London in the late 1980’s; a policy which has been widely adopted over past two decades by Foreign Currency suppliers across the board. It is also a policy that has helped spur the remarkable growth of the Currency Exchange Corporation in less than a decade to being one of the most sought after Holiday Money specialists in the market today.

Mr Cooke’s expertise has given the Currency Exchange Corporation the edge and the ability to offer its customers the best possible exchange deal when buying or selling Foreign Banknotes for business or pleasure. Today the Currency Exchange Corporation operates numerous retail outlets in and around London and also maintains a wholesale Foreign Banknote dealing facility which supplies over 100 Bureau de Change outlets throughout the UK.
